Wedding Season is always upon on us on Maui! However, May is always an especially busy month for weddings all over the island. Just a few days ago we did a beautiful wedding for a lovely couple, Abby and Ben from Southern California. Gannon's Restaurant was the setting for a lovely lawn wedding and then outdoors reception with dancing! A photo booth and slide show wowed their family and friends! We also did a 20th. vow renewal for clients, Zane and Jamie from Texas and at a private Villa where they were staying in Kihei. With ceremony on the beach and then caterered dininer on the lovely lanai by the ocean with musicians playing...it was a lovely location. Call us today at 808.669.8787 to discuss choices of venue options and with our recommendations we can make your day or night a wonderful memory for the two of you and your guests.

There are so many reasons to consider a destination wedding in general, but a wedding in Maui is particularly idyllic. As you browse through our exclusive collection of Maui beach wedding packages, consider the following reasons why we believe that you should select Maui as your wedding destination.
The Enticing Weather Of The Pacific Isles
In general, the weather of Maui is warm and welcoming with blissful trade winds. Rain is not uncommon, but typically showers are brief. You might actually be surprised to learn that Maui actually has several different sub-climates. Keep this in mind as you look at Maui wedding packages. Beach conditions vary based on location on the island. For instance, some areas of Maui are drier and sunnier, while others experience more rainfall. Generally speaking, the most popular tourist areas of the island also are the sections with the sunniest weather, such as Lahaina.
We can help you select a Maui beach wedding package and a Maui beach location or another location where the weather is likely to be ideal for your wedding day. However, even if there is a short shower on your wedding day, imagine how spectacular a rainbow will look in your wedding photographs.
Spectacular Wedding Locations Abound
As you think about your Maui wedding packages, beach locations are just one of the many options to consider. In addition to Maui beach wedding packages, you also can tailor a package to include a setting such as a beautiful botanical garden, a stunning plantation or perhaps a bluff overlooking the sea. You can marry in a charming historic chapel or on the grounds of a lavish resort or even at the top of Haleakala. Few places on earth provide so many exciting ceremony options, and we can help you select the location of your dreams.
Domestic Destination Weddings Are Simple
While sharing your vows in Paris or perhaps on the sunny coasts of Capri certainly are romantic options, choosing to marry in a foreign country has its own set of obstacles. In addition, you and your guests must secure passports in order to enter a foreign county. With Maui beach wedding packages, you can enjoy all the fun of an exotic location without actually leaving the United States. In addition, we will hire the services of an officiate and help you with the marriage license process. It’s easier to marry in Hawaii than in many other states and certainly far easier than marrying in another country.
A Honeymoon Full Of Bliss
After you have selected one of our Maui beach wedding packages and the sun has set on your wedding night, you still have many honeymoon days to enjoy. Maui offers honeymooners a huge variety of exciting attractions to enjoy or the possibility of simply relaxing on one of our spectacular beaches.
If you have a few specific excursions in mind, consider adding them to one of our Maui wedding packages. Beach excursions might include surfing lessons or perhaps windsailing. You might add on an ocean dinner or cocktail cruise. You might also consider arranging a fun evening luau for you and your guests. Helicopter tours, guided tours down the road to Hana, scuba diving excursions and snorkeling trips are a few other options to consider. In addition, there are dozens of excellent restaurants where you can enjoy romantic dinners for two or have us arrange a private dinner for two prepared by a personal chef.
These are just a few of the reasons why we believe that Maui is the best possible location for a romantic destination wedding. If you are considering a Maui destination wedding, take a look about our Maui beach wedding packages to see if one might suit your needs. In addition to these packages, we can create a custom package just for you.

What could be more exciting than becoming engaged? Planning a Maui destination wedding, of course! At Love Maui Weddings, our team of wedding coordinators can make your wedding day dreams a reality whether you wish to be married right on the beach, at a historic chapel or on a bluff overlooking the ocean. When you begin planning for your big day, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.
1) Maui Destination Wedding Packages Make Your Life Easier
Weddings seem to be all about the details. Hundreds of details, perhaps even thousands of details need to be handled. It’s enough to make a poor bride want to tear her hair out. We certainly don’t want you to stress out, which is why we offer a multitude of amazing Maui destination wedding packages. These include all the details, big and small, leaving you free to simply select a dress, buy your airplane tickets and head out to our beautiful, romantic island.
Our Maui destination wedding packages include options to suit just about any budget and any size of wedding. We have Maui destination wedding packages suitable for a romantic elopement or an intimate beach wedding or we can create a lavish, custom package for a huge wedding with all of the trimmings or somewhere in between. No matter which option you choose, our team will handle all of the heavy lifting, so you can focus on the joy of the occasion.
2) Inviting People To Your Wedding
While selecting Maui destination wedding packages can be quite affordable for the marital couple, this isn’t quite true for your guests. Buying plane tickets to Hawaii and paying for accommodations can be costly for guests. This is typically why destination weddings tend to be small, but sometimes that is exactly what you want, to simply be surrounding by the people that truly mean the most in your life.
For those people you do invite, provide them with plenty of time to plan and save for the trip. If possible, pay for some of the meals and a special excursion for your guests or perhaps even offer to cover a portion of the plane fare or hotel costs. Of course, a Maui destination wedding is not just a wedding; it also can be a vacation for your guests, so they may be quite enthusiastic about the prospect despite the higher cost of attendance.
3) Presents or Presence: Which Gift Keeps On Giving?
For many couples, registering for gifts is all part of the fun of getting married. However, if you have opted to choose from one of our Maui destination wedding packages, you might want to rethink your desire for presents and allow the presence of your guests to serve as the main gift you receive. After all, not only will your guests be spending a great deal of money getting to the wedding, neither you nor they will want to lug around a crystal vase, set of bathroom towels or fondue pot on the journey.
Many of the couples that select Maui destination wedding packages not only ask their guests not to bring a gift, they provide a small welcome gift for their guests. This might include a beach bag filled with an itinerary, some snacks, water bottles and sunscreen. In addition, you could book tickets to a Luau, a cocktail and dinner cruise or some other amusement.
These are just a few helpful thoughts from the team here at Love Maui Weddings. If you are interested in taking a look at our Maui destination wedding packages, simply go to the top of our homepage and click on the Packages tab. We have many package options, but we are happy to add on special features to any package or create a completely custom wedding from scratch. Give us a list of what you want, and we can design the perfect Maui destination wedding.
When you start looking at Maui wedding and reception packages, you’ll notice that you have quite a few options to consider. At Love Maui Weddings, we offer an assortment of packages and can create custom packages or add on to existing packages if you don’t find exactly what you need. Here are just a few of your options if you wish to plan both a wedding ceremony and a reception.
Beach Wedding Options
Getting married on the beach is always a romantic option, but for Maui wedding and reception packages, you will need to hold the reception at some location other than where the ceremony takes place. People are not allowed to set up chairs and equipment directly on the beach, so after the ceremony you and your guests can be whisked away to a nearby location for a wonderful reception.
There are many fantastic restaurants that host receptions and many offer stunning ocean views or are located right on the beach. Duke’s, for instance, is just steps from the sand and offers plenty of historic ambiance as well as stunning Maui sunsets. Sea House is another option, located at peaceful Napili Bay. We have several different choices to consider as you look at Maui wedding and reception packages.
Church Wedding Options
There are many historic chapels in the lovely town of Lahaina, and we plan many weddings at these churches. For instance, the Lahuiokalani Ka’anapali Congregational Church is a historic structure built in 1929 and located across from Honokowai Beach Park. Another option is Maria Lanakila Catholic Church which dates back to 1858, or perhaps Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, which offers both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
If you are choosing Maui wedding and reception packages and wish to have a church wedding, you will need to find a different location for the reception. Again, you can choose from a vast selection of restaurants depending on the size of your party and your budget.
There are many places where one can marry and host the reception in the same place which can be very convenient. So if this is the option you seek, there are many Maui wedding and reception packages to consider. Many of the local hotels and resorts host weddings and receptions and while you might not be married directly on the beach, you can be married with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop.
Resorts are not your only option if you are considering all-inclusive Maui wedding and honeymoon packages. You can enjoy a ceremony and reception at the Maui Tropical Plantation or the Kula Botanical Garden. Several private estates, such as the Ka’anapali Coffee Farm, also are excellent options for a romantic wedding and reception. The Kapalua Cliff House is a fantastic spot for a wedding and reception. Here, couples can be married in an intimate beachfront ceremony and then enjoy a small reception at the Cliff House, which is located in a secluded little cove. This location can accommodate a party of 16 or smaller only, so it is ideally suitable for a small wedding.
Selecting the perfect Maui wedding and reception package is truly the most difficult of the decisions you will have to make when you book your wedding. After that, we will handle all of the details based upon your needs, budget and inclinations. This leaves you free to truly enjoy the special occasion and bypass all of the stress that usually accompanies wedding planning. After all, this is your special day and it should be filled with wonderful memories, and we can make it happen.
As we’ve said before, one of the advantages of planning a destination wedding is that you can enjoy your ceremony and honeymoon in the same place. Of course, we believe that the islands are the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon, and we can help our clients create custom honeymoon and wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii.
While you can certainly spend your days lounging on the beach followed by a spectacular dinner by sunset, there’s so much to do in Maui that your honeymoon also can be filled with unique and interesting activities. Not only can we create wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii, we can also point you in the direction of a few interesting excursions.
The Road To Hana
This is an all-day event and you can drive it yourself or take a guided tour. Technically, the road to this quaint little town is only about 52 miles long, but the road isn’t exactly an 8-lane highway. Prepare for hairpin turns and tiny one-lane bridges (56 one-lane bridges in all) and plenty of stops along the way where you can hike to spectacular waterfalls or enjoy scenic ocean vistas. We recommend bringing plenty of bottled water as well as a picnic lunch as there aren’t cafes or restaurants along the way. Many of our clients who book wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii, spend a day of their honeymoon enjoying this journey.
While many states boast an abundance of wonderful wineries, few of them boast the views that you will find at Ulupalakua Winery. The drive along Highway 37 is almost reason enough to visit the winery, but the chance to sample unique pineapple wine is certainly another reason to go. If just the two of you are heading over for a tour and tasting, reservations are not necessary, but this can be an excellent excursion for you and your wedding guests. For parties of 10 or more, it’s recommended that you call and make reservations and set up a private tour.
Ka’anapali Coffee Farm
Not only is this a great excursion, this coffee farm can be an option to consider for your ceremony when booking wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii. Many of our clients opt for a ceremony at Ka’anapali which boasts sweeping ocean views and it’s just a few minutes from Lahaina. Hawaii is the only state where coffee is grown, and this state produces some of the best coffee in the world. You can drive up to enjoy the view and grab a cup of fantastic coffee or stay longer and take a tour of the farm.
Sunrise at Haleakala
We’ve definitely mentioned this one in previous articles, but it truly deserves a second mention. While you have to get up well before the crack of dawn in order to reach the top of Haleakala before sunset, it’s all going to be worth it as you watch the sun rise over the world’s largest dormant volcano and enjoy unparalleled views of Maui and beyond. You can actually get married atop Haleakala, if you like, and we can create custom wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii that include this option.
Sunset Dinner Cruises
After you enjoy sunrise at the top of Haleakala and perhaps spend the day relaxing on the beach or perhaps by the pool at your hotel or resort, the best way to end the day might just be a sunset cruise. There are dinner cruises where you enjoy the sunset, views of the Maui shoreline and a full dinner, as well as cocktail sunset cruises with freshly prepared drinks and an assortment of appetizers. There are quite a few different options and we can give you a few recommendations when we are discussing your wedding plans.
In addition to creating wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii, we are happy to provide you with recommendations for activities and restaurants on the island, so feel free to ask for advice. We have been creating wedding packages in Maui, Hawaii, for more than 30 years and our team of planners are Maui experts. The aforementioned activities are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to excursions on Maui. There is plenty more to see and do, so let us know about your interests and we can point you in the right direction.
If the average American wedding costs about $25,000, chances are that most engaged couples are probably a bit worried about expenses. However, at Love Maui Weddings, we know that selecting a cheap Maui wedding package as well as utilizing a few other cost-saving tips doesn't mean you can't enjoy the wedding of your dreams.
1.) Select Cheap Maui Wedding Packages & Save
When we talk about cheap Maui wedding packages, we don't mean to imply that you should have to sacrifice quality. Our most inexpensive packages are simple, but they still provide couples with an unparalleled wedding experience.
For instance, our Simply In Love Package runs just $575, and while it might be a cheap Maui wedding package, quite a bit is included in this deal which includes tying the knot right on one of Maui's picturesque beaches. The $575 rate includes the permit for the beach wedding site, the services of a minister, assistance with the marriage license, two freshly made Hawaiian leis, a keepsake wedding certificate and a printed copy of your special vows.
We have several other inexpensive Maui wedding packages that range from about $1,250 up to $4,000, and each one includes the amenities of our Simply In Love package as well as many other details such as professional photography, traditional Hawaiian musicians, limousine service or perhaps an escorted outrigger canoe bridal entrance.
2.) Plan A Wedding During The Low Season
Maui is a popular destination year-round, but there are a few times during the year when it's cheaper to fly and reserve lodging in this tropical paradise. So in addition to looking at cheap Maui wedding packages, consider booking your wedding in April, May, September or October. Early November also can be a good time, provided you steer clear of the Thanksgiving holiday. When it comes to April, Spring Break revelers can drive up prices a bit, so be sure to plan around the typical Spring Break dates.
You also often can save money by booking a midweek flight. Weekend flights tend to be crowded and expensive, so consider flying out on a Wednesday perhaps rather than Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Buying tickets early, about 50 or more days in advance, also tends to help you get the best possible deal. You also might consider looking at the cost of flying out of different airports or booking flights with multiple stops to save money.
3.) Be Frugal & Save Up
While our cheap Maui wedding packages can really reduce your expenditures, paying for plane fare and accommodations can be difficult. In the months leading up to the big event, we recommend implementing some severe cost cutting. For instance, take a look at your monthly expenses and eliminate anything you don't really need or use. Consider doing some meal planning and eating at home rather than eating out. This alone can save you hundreds of dollars. If you want to hang with friends, consider hosting potlucks instead of going out to expensive restaurants.
Creating a monthly and yearly budget is a good thing for a couple to do anyway. This is a great time to think about how much you spend, how much you really need to spend and how much you need to save for your future. It might not seem very romantic, but good financial planning can truly reduce stress in a marriage, and it can all start during your wedding planning.
4.) Focus On The Love
There are so many advantages to a destination wedding, and one of the perks of selecting cheap Maui wedding packages and enjoying an island wedding is the simplicity. The main focus of your wedding day should be on the exchange of vows and enjoying the love and friendship of friends and family. The beauty of Maui is often all the decoration you need. A simple beach ceremony followed by dinner for you and your guests at a local restaurant can be all the ingredients you need for a perfect wedding day. By keeping it simple and focusing on what's truly important, you also can reduce the cost of your wedding.
If you are ready to start planning a frugal, but stunning wedding day, give us a call at Love Maui Weddings. We can create the perfect wedding for you and a wedding that doesn't break the bank.
Ah weddings! Such bliss, such romance, such fun! Well, that's the way it should be, but too often wedding planning is more stressful than exciting. As Maui wedding coordinators, we plan a lot of Maui weddings throughout the year, and we have learned a few important things along the way.
1.) Maui Wedding Coordinators Make It Easy
Planning a wedding is always easier if you have someone handling most of the details for you. This is especially true if you are planning a destination wedding. Even if you grew up in Maui or have spent a dozen or more vacations on the island, it's just not easy to plan a wedding by yourself from afar. Hiring wedding coordinators in Maui is truly the best way to go. We handle virtually all of the details and all you have to do is buy plane tickets and wedding clothes.
As Maui wedding coordinators, we handle details such as helping with the marriage license and finding a minister or officiate. We also secure beach permits for your ceremony or reserve any other location where you wish to be married. We can hire florists, musicians, photographers, plan out the reception, make reservations for excursions and much more.
2.) Stay Organized Along The Way
While your Maui wedding coordinators will do most of the heavy lifting, there's still plenty for couples to think about. Make a big master list with all of the items that need to be completed prior to the wedding. It can help to organize your list in terms of dates. For instance, if you are getting married in June and you became in engaged in February, have a to-do list for March, April, May and June. Keep all of your to-do lists and other paperwork in a special wedding notebook.
A few of the items you will need to tackle include inviting guests, and this should be done as soon as you decide to have a destination wedding. As wedding coordinators in Maui, we know how important it is to give guests time to plan for this event. They need to book time off from work, buy plane tickets, find child care or pet care and a host of other tasks. So please give your guests plenty of time to plan.
In addition, you will need to purchase your plane tickets and reserve hotel accommodations. Your Maui wedding coordinator can recommend a variety of suitable spots for you and your guests. In some cases, you can even get a small discount for reserving a block of rooms. Be sure to write down all of your reservation numbers and keep the information in your wedding notebook.
3.) Focus On The Joy Of The Occasion
Getting married is about making a lifelong commitment. It should be a special day where you and your significant other share your vows and celebrate your love for one another. Too often, couples focus on the tiny details or planning an impressive reception or trying to please all of their guests. It's just too much. Focus on each other and what is truly important and, as they say, don't sweat the small stuff.
As wedding coordinators in Maui, we have found that planning a destination wedding actually can be much less stressful than a wedding at home. After all, you enlist the services of Maui wedding coordinators and, because it's a destination wedding, the guest list is usually pretty small. Small guest lists can be a huge blessing, not only in terms of cost, but also in terms of stress.
With a typical wedding at home, the wedding couple must plan both the wedding and arrange the honeymoon. If you opt for a destination wedding, the ceremony and the honeymoon can all take place at your special destination, which can make planning a breeze. To make it even easier, consider selecting a Maui wedding and honeymoon package that includes all of the details.
Our Maui wedding and honeymoon packages come in all shapes and sizes to fit a variety of budgets and inclinations. Some of our guests prefer the idea of a romantic elopement, while others wish to plan a full wedding with many guests and a large reception. Fortunately, Maui is a destination that can accommodate any type of wedding. There are many fantastic locations for the ceremony as well as for stunning Hawaiian receptions.
For a very small wedding or an elopement, you might want to select a Maui wedding and honeymoon package that includes an intimate ceremony right on the beach. We have several packages that include a beach ceremony. These packages might include traditional Hawaiian dancers, musicians or singers or perhaps a special extra such as having the bride arrive aboard an outrigger canoe.
All beaches in Maui are public, so while you can choose to be married at virtually any beach, there are some restrictions that make a beach site a less desirable location for larger weddings. For instance, you are not allowed to set up chairs, a tent, an arch, a chuppah or any other items on the beach. The amount of people at the ceremony is restricted to 20 people or fewer. This count includes the couple and their guests as well as the minister, the wedding coordinator, photographer, etc.
If you had your heart set on a romantic wedding with stunning Maui vistas as your backdrop but you have a larger guest list, please don't despair. There are many amazing locations with spectacular views that you can book for Maui wedding and honeymoon packages. For instance, there are many resorts with amazing views that are ideal wedding and reception venues. There are private plantations and private estates to consider, as well. Many local restaurants have special scenic areas that are set up for wedding ceremonies, as well. We can find a perfect, beautiful, romantic location to suit any size wedding party.
On our home page, take a look at the many options under the Locations tab. You will see everything from luxurious resorts to historic chapels to an idyllic botanical garden. A couple can even be married atop Haleakala if they wish for a spectacular sunrise or sunset wedding. Another option might include planning a ceremony and reception aboard a private yacht.
Before booking a Maui wedding and honeymoon package, it is best to first consider your budget and your guest list. Set a firm budget that includes the cost of your ceremony, your plane tickets and your honeymoon expenses. Then decide how many guests you wish to invite.
Keep in mind that destination wedding guests need to be able to afford the expense of plane fare and accommodations, and they also need plenty of time to plan for this special destination wedding. While it is expensive for guests, it's also a chance for your friends and family to enjoy a fantastic Maui getaway. Most guests consider a Maui destination wedding to be a vacation as well as a trip to watch two dear friends or family members tie the knot.
Take a look at our selection of Maui wedding and honeymoon packages and if you don't see exactly what you need, let us create a custom package just for you. We can create any type of custom wedding package as well as booking excursions or activities for your guests or for you to enjoy during your honeymoon.
At Love Maui Weddings, our goal is to provide couples with an easy way to plan a Maui destination wedding. We have created a variety of Maui beach wedding packages suitable for just about any budget. Beyond the wedding day though, we find that our clients often have quite a few questions about Maui beaches in general.
There are dozens of stunning beaches in Maui, and for our Maui beach wedding packages, we recommend several of them. Kapalua Bay, Ironwoods, DT Flemming, Napili Bay, Keawakapu, Makena Cove and Po’Olenalena are all fantastic beaches for your Maui wedding. We have pictures and information about each of these beaches under the Locations tab on our home page.
All of the beaches in Maui are public, there are no private beaches. So even if the beach is adjacent to a swanky resort, the beach is still open for public use. Of course, that doesn’t mean that every beach is ideal for every person. For instance, if you were hoping to select a Maui beach wedding package and enjoy a sunset wedding, you might select a beach such as Ironwoods, Kapalua Bay or Makena Cove, just to name a few.
Your guests also might influence your choice of beach as well as the Maui beach wedding package you select. If you have quite a few guests, you will want to select a beach that has adequate parking with easy access to the ceremony site and with bathrooms. Palauea Beach, Polo Beach, Mokapu Beach and Kapalua Bay are a few of the options to consider, but the team at Love Maui Weddings can help you select the ideal beach for your needs and inclinations.
One of the services we provide in all of our Maui beach wedding packages is securing the beach location and obtaining a beach permit. If you wish to be married on the beach, the number of people will be limited to 20 people. This includes the marital couple, the minister, your guests and any others, such as a photographer, musicians or wedding coordinator. Also, chairs and other furnishings cannot be placed on the beaches.
Generally, because destination weddings tend to have a small guest list, these restrictions are not a problem. Keep in mind, that while you might not be able to outfit the wedding site with chairs or an arch or other accoutrements, you will have plenty of spectacular scenery to provide the backdrop for your ceremony.
If you do intend to have a larger wedding party, there are other options to consider aside from a Maui beach wedding package. For instance, there are private estates and plantations with stunning ocean views. Bluff-top or oceanfront restaurants also often feature emerald lawns ideal for a wedding, and you will be just a few yards from the ocean.
To take a look at our Maui beach weddings packages, go to the home page and select the Packages link. This section includes information about our many wedding packages as well as our romantic vow renewal packages. If you don’t see exactly what you like, we can customize one of our packages or even start from scratch and create a custom wedding package just for you.
While our specialty at Love Maui Weddings is to create romantic, idyllic Maui wedding packages for our clients, we also can help you find some amazing excursions during your island stay.
Most of our clients marry and honeymoon in Maui, and while you can certainly enjoy a honeymoon filled with days of lounging on the beach, there are some wonderful options to consider. We can help you find excursions just for yourself or perhaps suggest excursions for your entire wedding party. Often a special excursion is a nice way to say thank you to your guests for traveling out to the islands.
Several of our Maui wedding packages actually include some fun local experiences. For instance, our “Love Story” Maui wedding package includes your beach wedding site, the services of a minister, two freshly crafted Hawaiian tuberose leis, a bridal bouquet, groom boutonniere, wedding photography and a few romantic keepsakes.
In addition, couples that select this Maui wedding package can select three activities from our preferred activities vendor list. The choices include attending an authentic local luau, a Haleakala zipline tour, a romantic dinner for two at a local restaurant, a sunset dinner cruise, the Warren & Annabelle Dinner and Magic Show or perhaps a trek out to the Molokini crater for some snorkeling fun. For those who crave outdoor adventure, we recommend the zipline tour and Molokini snorkeling adventure. During the Haleakala zipline trek, you’ll enjoy a birds' eye view of beautiful Haleakala National Park while reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. The Molokini Crater is a volcanic crater that rests between the islands of Maui and Kaho’olawe. During your snorkeling adventure, you are sure to see a wide variety of sea life, and more than 200 marine species live in this area.
If you prefer activities that are a bit more relaxing, there are many options. The sunset dinner cruises will provide you with a stunning view of the Maui coastline as well as Haleakala. A luau is always an excellent option and can be a great activity to enjoy with your entire wedding party. During a luau, you will enjoy a variety of gourmet Hawaiian cuisine as well as enjoying traditional Hawaiian music and dancing. It’s a wonderful way to learn a bit about the history and culture of the Hawaiian Islands.
The Warren and Annabelle Dinner and Magic Show is one of the island’s most popular entertainment attractions. During the evening, you can enjoy cocktails and an assortment of appetizers and desserts. The show includes both magic and stand-up comedy, and this is another activity that would be great to share with your friends and family.
While some of our Maui wedding packages include an excursion or two, you also can add on an excursion if you like to any of our Maui wedding packages. If the aforementioned activities don’t suit your needs, we can make a few other suggestions based upon your interests and time. For instance, there are guided tours of the Road to Hana, as well as parasailing adventures, surfing lessons, helicopter tours and much more.
1.) We Know Where To Find The Best Vendors
Many people have visited Maui so many times that they really feel as though they “know” Maui. While it may be true that you have some favorite beaches and places to go, do you know how to book a minister? Do you know where to find a great florist or photographer? Do you know how to obtain a beach permit for a wedding? These are all things that Maui wedding coordinators know and know well.
As Maui wedding coordinators, the team at Love Maui Weddings can find the perfect beach location for your ceremony, and we know the best local florists and photographers on the island. We can handle all of the details and we have all of the professional contacts. This will save you a great deal of time, and you will be sure to have the best possible vendors for your wedding. As wedding coordinators, we also tend to get better deals on flowers, photographer and other items than you would working on your own. This definitely can have a positive effect on your pocketbook.
2.) Maui Wedding Coordinators Reduce Your Stress
Weddings tend to be very stressful events to plan, but it doesn’t have to be that way. After all, most people who are planning a wedding themselves are working full time and also trying to find time to meet with caterers, cake designers, florists and other vendors.
This is actually a huge perk of hiring Maui wedding coordinators and planning a destination wedding. Your coordinator’s job is to handle these issues and rather than having to hire all of these vendors, you simply hire one coordinator and that person takes care of finding all the vendors. You simply speak on the phone and via email with your coordinator and don’t have to schedule meetings during your work week or try to cram them in on the weekend.
We offer a wide variety of all-inclusive wedding packages that will suit a variety of needs and budgets. Choosing a package can reduce stress because everything is included in the package and you don’t have to fret about the details. Of course, we also can create any type of custom wedding package you need or take one of our packages and add on a few special extras.
One side note: Often couples feel obligated to cater to the wishes of friends and family while planning a wedding. When you plan a destination wedding, the guest list is usually smaller which reduces the number of family and friends you have to “handle.” In addition, when well-meaning, but sometimes overbearing family members or friends try to change wedding details, you can simply say, “my Maui wedding coordinators already everything planned and ready to go.”
3.) Maui Wedding Coordinators Make The Big Day Run Smoothly
Most couples are a bit nervous on their wedding day and truly they just don’t need to be worrying about all of the wedding details. Your goal on that day should be to simply enjoy making a commitment to your significant other and bask in the experience. You shouldn’t be worrying about whether or not the flowers are ready or handling a ton of questions from your guests.
Your Maui wedding coordinators will have all the details handled and they can be available to handle questions from guests and make sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time. We handle the details, small and large, on your big day. This frees the wedding couple, as well as the mother of the bride or groom, from having to do any work. Everyone can simply relax and enjoy the moment and the beauty of Maui.
When you get married near home, there are so many decisions that have to be made. You have to book a spot for the ceremony, book the reception site, hire a caterer, find a florist, find a photographer, purchase wedding favors, order a cake and so on. With all-inclusive Maui wedding packages, however, you basically just have to select a package and buy your dress.
This is one reason why we believe that a Maui destination wedding is such a great idea. Selecting from one of our all-inclusive Maui wedding packages makes your planning a snap. Of course, another reason why we truly believe that every couple should book a Maui wedding is that Maui is one of the most beautiful and romantic spots on earth.
At Love Maui Weddings, we’ve been helping couples plan Maui weddings since 1992, and over the years, we’ve developed quite a few different all-inclusive Maui wedding packages based upon what most of our clients request when planning a wedding.
We find that many couples are anxious to tie the knot on the beach, so several of our all-inclusive Maui wedding packages include a ceremony right on the sand. Our “So This Is Love” package, for example, includes your beach ceremony site, the services of a minister, two fresh Hawaiian leis, a bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, in-room hair and make-up services, professional photography, an on-site wedding coordinator and a few other romantic extras. At just $1,250, this package is one of our most affordable and most popular options.
This is just one of our all-inclusive Maui wedding packages that includes a beach ceremony, and we also have packages for a ceremony at an oceanfront Hawaiian plantation or perhaps a Lahaina chapel or another location that you choose.
One of our wildest packages, the “Crazy in Love” option, begins with a helicopter tour of the sea cliffs of Molokai. Your helicopter will then land on the beautiful isle of Lanai for a romantic beach wedding ceremony. A speedboat will whisk you back to Maui, and a limousine will take you back to your honeymoon resort. We also can add on a special beach dinner for two prepared by a personal chef.
These are just a few of the all-inclusive Maui wedding packages to consider, but you also can create your own package. Our “Love Is All You Need” option is a custom package. Simply share your wedding dreams with us and we can make it happen. This package can include anything and everything you need and want. You dream it up and we will do all of the work, leaving you free to bask in the moment. Give us a call today and let’s start making plans for your romantic Maui wedding.
While there are plenty of great reasons to consider tying the knot in Hawaii, a destination wedding does require a different sort of planning. We plan hundreds of Maui weddings each year, and have a few bits of advice for couples to consider regarding their guests.
Guests at Maui weddings typically pay their own airfare and accommodations. In addition, they must arrange for time off of work and perhaps childcare or pet care. All of this takes time and planning so it’s wise to provide friends and family with several months of advance notice so that they can make some plans.
After you decide that you would love a Maui wedding, sit down with your significant other and create a realistic guest list. Write down the names of people that you wish to attend the wedding and who realistically can afford to come and also will be able to reserve the time away from home. Once you have a list, consider emailing or calling up these special friends and family members and gauging their level of availability.
It also can be wise to take a look at the potential cost per person for Maui weddings. Take a look online to find the cost of airfare as well as several nights’ accommodations on Maui. Also consider that your guests will be paying for some of their meals and possibly taxis or a rental car in Maui.
On the plus side, with Maui weddings, the guest list usually is very small and it is possible that your wedding budget might allow you to pay for accommodations for some or all of your guests or perhaps several meals or the airline tickets. A typical American wedding can cost about $25,000 and generally this can include as many as 75 to 100 guests or more. Narrow down the list to one dozen guests or fewer and your costs are much lower.
While you might be worried about your guests’ reaction to the news that you are planning a Maui wedding, most of your guests probably will jump at the chance to attend. After all, Maui weddings are not just fun for the couple tying the knot; it’s a vacation for all of your guests, as well. Plus, by keeping your guest list small, you will be surrounded by people who are truly meaningful in your life and that will make the entire experience even more special.
Guests at a destination wedding often aren’t expected to present the marital couple with a wedding gift. After all, it costs a bit to attend Maui weddings and it’s not particularly easy to tote gifts across the ocean on an airplane. However, while you might not be receiving gifts from your guests, it is nice to provide them with a token of your appreciation for traveling to your nuptials.
We suggest provide each guest with a small goodie bag and having this placed in their hotel rooms. This bag can include thoughtful items such as sunscreen, lotion, water bottles and perhaps some light snacks. In addition, offer them a list with options for dining and activities and a detailed schedule of wedding events. You also might consider planning a special excursion for your guests, such as attending a luau or a whale watching trip as well as a special dinner, a breakfast and maybe a cocktail hour.
At Love Maui Weddings, not only can we help you plan the wedding of your dreams, we also can help you with some of the guest arrangements. We can provide valuable information about travel and lodging, as well as offering recommendations for restaurants, fantastic beach locations and fun excursions. Our team of Maui experts is prepared to do all they can to make your Maui destination wedding a perfect experience.
At Love Maui Weddings, it’s not just engaged couples that come to us for wedding packages in Maui and wedding planning services. Many of our clients are couples that have already tied the knot and are seeking a romantic vow renewal. For these special couples, we have several idyllic options.
Among our wedding packages in Maui, a couple seeking a vow renewal might consider our “Love, Always” package. Not only is this package quite affordable, at just $350, it also includes many pleasing amenities. The package includes a beach permit at one of Maui’s stunning local beaches, the services of a minister, a keepsake anniversary certificate and a printed copy of your vows. We also provide specialty leis for the groom and the bride, as well as a keepsake bottle of sand from your special beach.
Our “Lovely Romantic Anniversary” package is another vow renewal option to consider. This package includes all the amenities in the “Love, Always” package as well as a few special extras. An onsite wedding coordinator will be on hand to snap pictures during your ceremony using your digital camera. In addition, this package includes a romantic dinner on the beach for two prepared by a private chef. During the dinner, you will be serenaded by a musician of your choice.
We have a wide variety of wedding packages in Maui, and any of our packages could be used for a vow renewal rather than an actual wedding. In addition, we also offer the option of creating your own custom vow renewal. Perhaps you wish to have a Hawaiian singer serenade you during the ceremony or maybe you wish to have a traditional Hawaiian ceremony with hula dancers and Hawaiian music. We also can arrange a circle of tropical flowers on the beach and you can exchange your vows while surrounded by these stunning flowers.
A custom wedding package in Maui also might include a ceremony that is not on the beach and your vow renewal also could take place at a non-beach location. For instance, you might wish to renew your vows at the top of the Haleakala volcano or perhaps surrounded by the lush beauty at the Kula botanical garden. There are many romantic locations that would be ideal for a vow renewal ceremony.
Take a look on our website to learn more about our vow renewal packages. You can also give us a call to discuss your options or to have us create a custom wedding package or vow renewal just for you. We have been helping couples plan romantic weddings and vow renewals in Maui for more than 20 years.
Planning a wedding should be romantic and fun, but often it just seems stressful. Our number one stress-relieving tip is to consider a Maui destination wedding. We have easy Maui Hawaii wedding packages that make the process simple and straightforward.
Destination weddings can reduce stress for several reasons. For one thing, the wedding planners do most of the heavy lifting such as finding a minister, booking the wedding site, finding a florist, arranging for photography and so on. We offer a variety of romantic Maui, Hawaii wedding packages that make wedding decisions a snap.
As we've mentioned before on our blog, when it comes to a destination wedding you typically have fewer guests, the cost is often lower than a traditional wedding at home. Finally, a destination wedding is like a romantic vacation. When you have a wedding at home, you probably are still working and also dealing with last-minute weddings errands. If you marry in Maui, you won't be working, we take care of the details and you can relax and enjoy the experience.
While most of the details of your Maui, Hawaii wedding package will be handled by the team at Love Maui Weddings, there are a few items that you will need to handle. For instance, the clothes you want to wear for the ceremony will need to be purchased ahead of time. One of the great things about a Maui beach wedding is that it can be fairly casual. We often see guys dressed in chinos and Hawaiian shirts and women wearing a lovely white sundress. Of course, if you do wish to have traditional tuxedos and a formal wedding dress, we can help with tux rentals or you can bring your own.
Two other details that need to be handled are purchasing airline tickets and booking your accommodations on Maui. While our Maui, Hawaii wedding packages don't include your flight and hotel stays, we are Maui experts and can answer any questions you might have about travel, lodging and activities on Maui. We can help you find fun activities for you and your wedding party, recommend a great spot for a romantic sunset cocktail or tell you about some of the island's hidden gems.
Once you've figured out the clothes, bought airline tickets and reserved your lodging, there's very little else remaining for your to do. As part of our Maui, Hawaii wedding packages, we will find an officiant, secure a beach permit or reserve a chapel or other ceremony spot, hire a photographer, arrange for flowers and even help you with the wedding license. We also can plan any size of reception, from a simple dinner at an oceanfront restaurant to a lavish reception at a luxurious Hawaiian plantation.
To wrap it up, you can relieve wedding stress by opting for one of our Maui, Hawaii wedding packages. If you select clothing, lodging and airline tickets early on, the other three big wedding tasks also will be out of the way. Then you can focus on the fun and romance rather than worrying about the wedding details.
Take a look at our photo gallery and in an instant you will see why people choose Maui for their wedding. The scenery is breathtaking and getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life creates a truly memorable wedding experience. We offer many great Maui destination wedding packages, but we also give you the option of creating your own package.
Before you give us a call, take a look at our packages and gallery and ask yourself what you really want included in your Maui destination wedding package. Then write down a list that includes the following information.
Select A Location
Do you wish to be married on the beach or perhaps at a restaurant located on a bluff overlooking the ocean? Perhaps you would prefer a beautiful historic chapel or maybe a lush botanical garden. Maybe you long for a ceremony on a yacht with views of Maui as your backdrop. Posh local resorts and private plantations also make excellent spots for a wedding ceremony and you can even get married at the top of the Haleakala volcano. Our Maui destination wedding packages allow you to select from a huge variety of island locations.
Select A Time Of Day
Some people want a sunset ceremony and others prefer an afternoon event or even early morning. If you are planning a wedding at Haleakala, a sunrise ceremony might be an option to consider. At Love Maui Weddings, we can help you plan a wedding at just about any time of day. Some options, of course, will have certain restrictions regarding the time of day, but generally we can find something that works for you.
Receptions, Dinners, Cocktails
With Maui destination wedding packages, we typically find that the guest list is fairly small. For a group of 10 or fewer, you might consider booking a room or large table at a local restaurant for your after-wedding party. We can find a spot that provides excellent service, food and ambiance. Some of our couples come to Maui to elope and for these couples, we can arrange for a dinner for two prepared by a local chef. For larger parties, of course, we can design a reception with all the trimmings, including food, music and dancing. There are many venues on Maui that can accommodate larger wedding parties.
The Little Things
Well, perhaps they aren't little, but after you select your location and date, there are a few other considerations we need to discuss. This includes items such as photography, flowers and the officiant. Our photographers can capture the joy of your special day as well as the glory of Maui in every shot. As for the flowers, our Maui destination wedding packages often include items such as freshly made leis, bridal bouquets and boutonnieres. Of course for many weddings, we can decorate the chapel or ceremony location with flowers, as well. We also can find a local minister to lead your ceremony.
Each of our couples is unique, so we can customize any of our Maui destination wedding packages. Some couples choose to have the bride arrive at the ceremony aboard an outrigger canoe. Other couples wish to have traditional Hawaiian dancers or musicians perform at the wedding. Add all of these extras to your list and let us know what you truly desire. We will create a special Maui destination wedding package that fulfills all of your dreams.
After the question has been popped and it's time to start actually planning your big day, we certainly believe that your best first step is to consider one of our romantic Maui beach wedding packages. In fact, we can entice you further by providing you with a few great reasons why this is the best way to tie the knot.
Maui Beach Wedding Packages Make It Easy
No one really wants to spend months stressing over wedding details, but sadly many couples ending up doing exactly that. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful. Maui Beach Wedding Packages Keep It Affordable
While the average American wedding costs more than $25,000, you might be very surprised (and pleased) to discover that our Maui beach wedding packages are far more affordable. Our packages range from less than $600 up to $10,000 and all include a variety of amenities. For all of your packages, we will hire an officiant, assist with the marriage license and present you with a copy of your vows and a keepsake wedding certificate.
One of our most popular options is the "So This Is Love" package. For this Maui beach wedding package, which runs $1,250, we will secure a beach site and hire the minister. In addition, this package includes professional photography, in-room hair and make-up services on your wedding day, a bridal bouquet and groom boutonniere and two fresh Hawaiian leis. We also provide an on-site wedding coordinator with this package.
For just a bit more, you can consider the "Love Is In The Air" package, which costs about $2,500 and offers some unique Hawaiian touches. This Maui beach wedding package includes photography and a professional DVD, fresh Hawaiian leis for the bride and groom, a torch bearing maiden, a conch shell sounding and a Hawaiian vocalist or guitarist. We also include two tickets to a luau or magic show, depending on your preference. These are just two of the packages we offer and, of course, you also have the option of adding onto a package or creating your own custom wedding.
Maui Beach Wedding Packages Are Romantic
Shouldn't your special day be as romantic as possible? We believe that every couple deserves a wonderful wedding and Maui is an ideal spot for your ceremony. The beaches are pristine and the views are divine. Imagine sharing your vows right on the beach as gentle trade winds ruffle palm trees and waves dance upon the shore.
It might seem like an impossible dream, but at Love Maui Weddings we make it happen for couples every day and can help you plan a memorable wedding too. Take a look at our romantic Maui beach wedding packages and give us a call to get the planning started.
Did you know that Lahaina actually was the capitol of the Kingdom of Hawaii prior to Honolulu? The name Lahaina translates to "cruel sun," in Hawaiian and was so named because there is so little rainfall in Lahaina in contrast with many other areas of Hawaii. Of course, this abundant sunshine is good news for couples planning Lahaina weddings.
Lahaina is a picture-perfect town filled with historic charm, and an ideal place for your nuptials. At Love Maui Weddings, we can plan any type of Lahaina wedding that you want. Your Lahaina wedding options include enjoying your nuptials right on the beach or perhaps you would prefer a ceremony is a historic chapel. There are also several resorts to consider for a larger, more lavish affair.
If you prefer the idea of enjoying a Lahaina wedding right on the beach, a few options to consider include Baby Beach and Ka'anapali Beach. Napili Beach and Kapalua are two other possibilities and both are north of the town of Lahaina.
You will need a permit to be married on the beach, and we can help secure this permit for you. Also, you aren't allowed to set up chairs directly on the beach and your guest list must be limited to no more than 20 people, and this includes not just the couple and friends and family, but also the minister and any other professionals at your ceremony. Still, Maui destination weddings tend to be small so this usually is not a problem.
If you do have a larger wedding party, it might be a good idea to marry on a bluff overlooking the ocean. There are resorts and restaurants that offer stunning views and can accommodate many guests for your Lahaina wedding. You also will be able to set up chairs, a canopy, music equipment and other gear, which might be prohibited at the beach. There are also beach parks that offer you more flexibility for your ceremony, but you are still just steps away from the beach where you can take plenty of wedding pictures.
We help couples plan Lahaina weddings as well as weddings throughout Maui. There are many fantastic wedding venues to consider. Whether you crave a ceremony right on the beach, you wish to marry in a quaint chapel or you wish to share your vows on a bluff with endless ocean views, we can make it happen for you.
